My week at Music Camp

I was so happy when my mom told me l was going to a music camp for a week. She told me a kind lady named Ruth McLeod from Four Villages had paid for me. That was the best news ever.

The first day was so good l made friends so easily all l said was hi lm Nicole what's your name. And the next l was friends with the coolest kids. My music teacher was so cool too, she was teaching us how to sing, beat box and listen to music. We sang a lot, we also wrote songs. You got to make your own song it can be silly, fun, crazy, or weird.  With the help of my teacher the song cheeky cheeky boo boo was mostly my creation, I wrote it, l just liked the way it sounded.

We also made an instrument, we all made a Diddley bow. l have written how l made it below.

HOW TO MAKE A DIDDLEY BOW

You will need a piece of wood, 2 screws, long string and a container you can also use paint. Paint the wood the colour of your choice and make it sure it dries over night. Then tie the string around both screws, get a hammer and hit the screws in 2 times then screw it in 3 times then put the container between the string and wood then tie ten it by screwing both of the screws down and if is not high enough put a block like mine and that is how you make a dudley bowl.
